Kicking off of Our First Women's Self-Defense Class at Beyond Karate

Today, Thursday, June 6, Beyond Karate took a significant step forward in our mission to empower and protect with the launch of our first women's self-defense class. Seven enthusiastic women attended, ready to learn, grow, and equip themselves with essential self-defense skills. The energy in the dojo was palpable...

Sensei Mallica was deeply impressed by the commitment and spirit of the participants. "You know class went well when your students not just showed up for their first class, but they came to POWER up & KICK ASS!" she said. "These ladies truly impressed me with their eagerness to train and rose to each challenge! Look forward to our next training."

One of the highlights of the class was the sense of camaraderie and unity among the women. Aysel, a student in Beyond Karate’s leadership program, captured this sentiment perfectly: "It was so much fun seeing everybody compete and come together as one." Her words reflect the supportive and empowering environment that Beyond Karate strives to create for all its students.

The first women's self-defense class was more than just a training session; it was a community-building experience. They not only learned how to defend themselves but also bonded with each other, creating a network of support and encouragement.

As we look forward to future classes, we are excited to see how these women will continue to grow and develop their skills. The journey has just begun, and with each session, they will become more confident and capable of protecting themselves and others.

Join us in this empowering journey. If you missed the first class, don't worry—there are plenty more opportunities to train, learn, and become part of the Beyond Karate family. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming classes and events, and let’s continue to empower each other, one class at a time.
